The RROHC Culture
The Relationship & Results Oriented HealthcareTM philosophy and method of delivering care combines patient satisfaction and family-centered care outcomes coupled with interdisciplinary best practices to create the optimal patient and/or family outcome.
When team members understand the results patients want, they operate from a common purpose to create a shared picture of success and an effective interdisciplinary care plan which clearly outlines the critical part of each member of the team.
The RROHC program is a "shared map" for the patient's journey and expert skill development. The program is designed to create mental structures through a consistent practice model and language.
Success in the program begins when staff become proficient in implementing the bundle of 10 best practices and leaders coach the processes and evaluate the results.
The bundle of 10 best practices combines the principles of critical-thinking, emotional intelligence, nurse delegation skills, nurse supervision skills, innovative learning strategies, coaching practice, and the science of teamwork. It also demonstrates many ways to improve patient safety while improving the quality of care without adding to operational costs.
When staff consistently perform at the "expert" level patient safety flourishes, efficiencies arise, patient care quality soars, nurse satisfaction and retention improve, and costs are reduced.

The Three Levels
Level 1 Certification: RROHC Specialist
The Specialists program prepares staff to function as an expert team leader, charge nurse, clinical leader or allied health care leader who expertly demonstrates and role models the bundle of 10 best practices.
We also recommend this program for new graduates to stimulate their progress from novice to expert, to improve staff retention, and for succession planning.
Our RROHC certified specialists have grown into shared governance council leadership, education, and managerial positions. Leaders accompany their staff on the Specialist journey and use the critical-thinking problem exercises to develop departmental problem solving and team building skills.
Level 2 Certification: RROHC Facilitator
The Facilitator program prepares leaders to teach or facilitate the RROHCTM techniques and training concepts that launch the RROHCTM program on a larger scale in their own organization.
Facilitators are usually leaders of organizational change, educators, clinical leaders, charge nurses, allied-health leaders, staff nurses, and professionals who have earned the Level 1 Specialist Certification.
Facilitators do not necessarily need to be Specialist graduates in order to be successful in the Facilitator role. We provide the overview of the principles of the RROHC program and give them the tools to be successful as a Facilitator.
Level 3 Certification: RROHC Master Coach
The Master Coach program prepares leaders to build vital leadership and coaching competencies for leading others through accelerated change and for achieving sustainable results.
This program is aimed at executive, mid-level, emerging leaders who are responsible for implementing the RROHC program in their organizations. Expert coaching and organizational change leadership skills provide the cornerstone of this level, and participants are encouraged to join the master coach program whether or not they are involved in daily RROHCTM initiatives.
