Level 1 Certification: Specialist

This 16-week program grounds participants in the RROHC system philosophy and set of practices. Hansten Healthcare PLLC will send you the syllabus and portfolio, you purchase the text books, and we guide your staff in completing the program and applying the concepts to their own clinical areas and through ongoing conferences and online support.

Each participant receives approximately 8 hours of coaching (in a group format) from RROHC Master Coaches Ruth Hansten and Kimberly McNally.

At the end of Level 1, participants gain:

• An understanding of the RROHC philosophy and practices for immediate application on the job
• Practical information on how to delegate, supervise & lead a clinical team
• Experience applying critical thinking & problem solving skills to clinical scenarios
• Methods to communicate effectively & resolve conflict
• Understanding of the coaching relationship.

Upon certification at the Specialist level, participants may progress through the Facilitator & Master Coach levels. Download our brochure.

Dates

We offer this program twice a year beginning in January and June. The Specialist Program is more successful when offered after the one-day Foundations Seminar. The seminar promotes staff buy-in and provides an excellent context for those who will be participating in the Specialist Program.

Cancellations and Discounts

• All team members must register together to be eligible for the team rate discount.
• Refunds for cancellations, less a $50.00 processing fee, will be made if Hansten Healthcare is notified in writing (email or fax) 10 days before the program.
• For cancellations less than 10 days before the program, fees may be applied to future programs (less a $150.00 processing fee).
• Please complete all sections of the registration form. The information will be used for all program correspondence and name badges.
• All registrations must include the appropriate fees.
